My name is Courtney Gaddis and I attended medical school at the John A. Burns School of Medicine. In October of 2010, I was given the greatest opportunity I could ever ask for. I was able to donate my bone marrow to a 4 year-old boy. This was truly the most rewarding experience of my life and everyday I am so thankful that I was a match for someone. Signing up on the Hawaii Bone Marrow Donor Registry was the best decision I ever made and I am so grateful that I was able to make a difference in someone’s life.
